We did the Valentine's Day thing on Sunday. My husband made me heart shaped french toast for breakfast. And we had chocolate fondue for dessert after supper. Besides that, everything else was a normal weekend. (We are always fun and romantic.) LOL.

You know what I miss? I miss that my son is too old to make Valentine's cards for everyone in his class. Although when he was little I did most of the work, it was kinda fun. Now that he's all blase about the whole thing, I miss it!

Geez, Cheryl. Will you keep it down? Andrew might hear you. Those burgers or KFC would be his ideal Valentine's dinner, too.

Well, my brother was visiting from out of town, and due to an odd request and a sick child, we ended up getting take-out fast-food burgers and bringing them home. I can't remember this ever happening in my house -- ever! -- but I've got to tell you I think it was my husband's best Valentine's Day ever.

A twisted take on romance, to be sure.
