Anonymous — I’m intrigued that you drew the parallel between the corner on the cookies and crackers and the blogs name. Very impressive visual connection. Regardless of the reasoning, most voters are siding with you, Diva and the others who say keep the name.

I’ve grown fond of your blog’s name. (And never, EVER touch that terrific tagline. That’s the best.)

I guess if you felt like you had to change it, you could call it “Christie Corner,” but then editors and other visitors might think you have a really big typo right there in the title.

And you know what? Maybe I feel a little bit “in the know” as a regular reader who knows your name isn’t Christie–or Charmaine.

Feel better! I think we have the same thing. Do germs travel via Internet connection?

You had me LOL with your post, it was that funny. Charmian. Will try to remember. When I read your blog through Google’s reader, your email address is right there, visible. With the charmian.christie. But it’s isn’t totally clear that it’s a first and last name, I suppose. I will say that changing your url is a bit of a pain, though. Probably not worth the hassle (having done it). What about just putting a clarification under your photo instead? Whatever you do, I’ll still be reading your blog. Thanks for the fun one, and hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you are sick!! I resent that you can still be so smart when you are down with a bug. You top the sty in my eye, but that is my excuse for not having come up with a new name for the blog. I’ll just pretend I’m resistant to change and not that I have no clever ideas.
